Hometown Huddle ("we," "us") provides a youth-sports team-management app for coaches, parents, and league organizations. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Accounts are for adults — parents, guardians, coaches, and league staff. The app is not directed to children, and children do not create accounts or sign in.
(1) Account info you provide: name, email, and optional phone number. (2) Team content that account holders add: team and athlete names, jersey numbers, athlete photos, positions, schedules, sign-ups, messages, polls, and files. (3) Basic technical data needed to run the service (for example, sign-in tokens and app logs).
Parents and coaches may add a child's first and last name, photo, and team position. This information is provided by the adult account holder, is visible only to that child's team (and, for sensitive details like positions, limited to coaches and the child's own parent), and is never sold or used for advertising. A parent or coach can edit or remove a child's information at any time, or contact us to have it deleted.
Only to operate the app: to show your team its roster and schedule, deliver announcements and reminders (including optional push notifications you turn on), and keep accounts secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
We send transactional messages (sign-in links, and reminders you opt into) via our email and push providers. We don't send marketing email.
Information is visible to members of your own team or league according to their role. We use service providers (hosting, database, email, push delivery) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
Access is protected by secure sign-in and database row-level security, so members only see what their role allows. Athlete photos and team logos are stored privately and served through expiring signed links.
You can view and edit your profile and your team's content in the app, turn notifications on or off, delete content you added, and request full account and data deletion by emailing us.
We keep information while your account or team is active and delete it on request or a reasonable time after an account is closed.
